About me
Storyteller, essayist, and lifelong reader.
I'm Aria Fenwick — a writer living between the coast and the city. For fifteen years I've written about the small hinges on which ordinary lives turn: a letter never sent, a house left behind, the quiet courage of starting again. My work has appeared in a dozen literary journals, and my debut novel was longlisted for the Halewood Prize.
Professional background
Before writing full time I worked as a librarian and a literature teacher, which taught me that the best stories are the ones we return to. I hold an MFA in Fiction and lead seasonal writing workshops for emerging authors.
Achievements
Halewood Prize Longlist (2023) • Coastal Review Fellowship • Two Pushcart nominations • Over 40,000 copies of my books in readers' hands.
